Beacon Hill (Morpeth) was a World War One 3rd Class Night Landing Ground used by 36(HD)Sqn, measuring  500 x 300 yards. It took its name from the nearby farm and became operational in October 1916, lasting until May 1917 when its duty was taken over by Longhorsley.
