Rennington(Stamford/Alnwick) was a World War One Landing Ground used by 36(HD)Sqn. It was also used as a temporary Marine Operations Station in June 1918.

It occupied 72 acres of land measuring 600 x 800 yards and was in operation between December 1916 and June 1919. The site was originally named Stamford/Alnwick but this was changed to Rennington/Alnwick on 1st March 1917 when the landing ground at Rennington closed.
