Seaton Carew II Marine Operations Station

There were actually two Seaton Carew locations, a landplane station and a seaplane one. The two locations were less than a mile apart and were know as Seaton Carew I & Seaton Carew II resp. Being a seaplane base the Seaton Carew II site only occupied 7 acres of land and was in operation between October 1917 and May 1919.hangarage was provided by a single Seaplane shed measuring 120 x 60 feet plus two Bessonneau hangars.
