Horsegate Landing Ground

Horsegate was a World War One 3rd Class Night Landing Ground used by 36(HD)Sqn. It occupied 36 acres of land measuring 450 x 560 yards and was in operation between May 1917 and June 1918. It took over the duties of the landing ground at Currock Hill.
